*ALWAYS Check the weather a few days before travel www.weather.com so that you pack proper clothing accordingly.

For New Orleans MAKE SURE that you pack the following:

1.walking shoes...New Orleans is a walking city, No High Heels Needed.   
2. silk or cotton shirts & blouses/pants/socks, underwear etc,...fabric that breaths in Tropical Weather. 3. cell phone & charger.
4. medications & emergency contacts (carry in your carry on case).
5.at least one dressy outfit for fine dinning (New Orleans is mostly casual otherwise).
6. Pack only what you need!  Save some room for all of the great shopping you can do in New Orleans.
7.Don't forget your toothbrush & toothpaste!
